25 I forgot to post yesterday.
On short notice, I heard that my family was making desserts for my sister's Broadway dinner theater this weekend. So I rushed home after work to help bake cookies. How could I resist? I made a double batch of the Better Homes and Gardens Ginger Cookie recipe, and one Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip recipe. I'm going back home tonight to bake those and start some shortbread. My aunt is making a few more varieties - brownies and cookie bars at least. We're expecting 150 people, so we want about 400 cookies (to be served w/ coffee after dinner).
Anyway, the hopeful thing for yesterday was inspired by a Blue October song that played on my way to work. Have you seen this video? I just love this girl's enthusiasm and dedication!
